Sponsor Hospital Council of Greater Bridgeport

Sponsor Hospital Council of Greater Bridgeport is a joint medical control collaborative between Bridgeport Hospital and St. Vincent’s Medical Center. The council provides medical control oversight for five ALS Paramedic Services and multiple BLS Fire Departments and Police Departments in the Greater Bridgeport area and Fairfield County. The Council is designed to establish, coordinate, plan and administer the development of an efficient and appropriate emergency medical care and to perform any functions which may be necessary to contribute to the attainment of the highest quality EMS care in the region.
